Your DJ/MC Style?
I believe a great MC should be engaging without being over the top.
At Sunnyside Entertainment, I focus on smooth transitions, keeping the timeline on track, and reading the room to ensure the dance floor stays packed.
Whether you want high energy or a sophisticated vibe, I tailor my style to match your vision.
Requests?
Absolutely! It's your event, and I want the music to reflect your taste. I can take requests from you in advance via a "must play" list.
I'm happy to handle guest requests during the party - filtering them through your preferences to make sure the vibe stays perfect.
If you'd prefer your guests not make any requests, I am prepared to let them down easy.
Equipment
Sunnyside Entertainment provides a full professional sound system, wireless microphones for toasts or speeches, and dance floor lighting.
We use Electro Voice speakers, Shure microphones and Chauvet lighting to ensure quality sound and vibes all day and night.
Are you insured?
Yes! Sunnyside Entertainment is fully insured. Many venues require proof of liability insurance from outside vendors, and we are happily happy to provide a COI (or certificate of insurance) to your venue coordinator upon request.
Travel for Events?
Absolutely! While we primarily serve the Inland NW, we love a good adventure. Whether your wedding is in Sandpoint, Spokane, or the Cascades, we are happy to discuss travel arrangements to bring the Sunnyside energy to you.
Do you help plan?
More than just a person with a playlist! Once you book, we work together on a detailed timeline. I coordinate with your photographer, coordinator, caterer and your venue to ensure we don't miss a beat.
Play our Music?
100%. This is your day. You'll have access to my email and cell phone so you can plan your Must Plays, Try to Plays and most importantly - your Do Not Play list.
I'll use my expertise to blend your favorites with songs that I know that will keep the dance floor moving.
Backup Plan?
This DJ always brings 2 laptops with identical drivesof music on each, an iPad, as well as additional SSD's containing the music for the day and the entire music library.
Our sound system has the ability to run for up to 12 hours on internal batteries as well as power the microphones if necessary. They're even weather resistant and we have rain covers in the chance it rains.
Lights? Yes, we even have battery powered lights to ensure the party continues.
